Breathwork is not a new concept; it has been embraced for centuries in different cultures and spiritual traditions. However, its resurgence in modern times has brought forth a wealth of scientific research and evidence supporting its numerous benefits. By harnessing the power of conscious breathing techniques, we can tap into a vast array of transformative effects that positively impact our physical, mental, emotional and spiritual well-being.

This is a direct result of experiencing

Transient Hypofrontality.

Transient hypofrontality occurs when there is a temporary decrease in activity in the prefrontal cortex, the part of the brain responsible for conscious thought, decision-making, and self-control. This state of reduced frontal lobe activity leads to a shift in brain function and can result in a range of benefits for individuals.

One significant connection to transient hypofrontality is the theta brainwave state. Theta waves, which have a frequency of around 4-8 Hz, are typically associated with deep relaxation, meditation, creativity, and enhanced learning. When the brain enters the theta state, it is characterized by a slower rhythm and increased synchronization between different brain regions.

During transient hypofrontality, the reduction in frontal lobe activity allows other brain regions, including those associated with the theta state, to become more active. This shift creates an optimal environment for various cognitive and creative processes to thrive including enhanced creativity, increased intuition and insight and deep relaxation (some call it the bliss state).

A conscious connected breathwork journey lasts about 2 hours and involves deep breathing for up to an hour. Before the session begins contra indications are covered, the technique clearly demonstrated and a full explanation of the journey is undertaken, including what to expect on the physical, mental and emotional level. The breathing is accompanied by a curated soundtrack and active coaching to guide you on your way.

After the session finishes there is time given for integration of any shifts that may have occurred, including insights gained, possibilities glimpsed and baggage released. Having guided thousands of people on transformational breathwork journey's I have witnessed many participants experiencing release from past trauma and limiting beliefs, forgiveness of self and others and huge psychic shifts in those that are ready to step into their amazing future self.
